We look forward to welcoming you to the 2024 MDRT Annual Meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. If you are traveling to the MDRT Annual Meeting as a company or tour group, the following information is provided to help ensure your meeting experience is enjoyable and stress-free.
MDRT Annual Meeting Registration
To attend the MDRT Annual Meeting events, sessions and activities, all members must register and pay the applicable registration fee.
Upon arrival, registered members will receive an official MDRT Annual Meeting badge. Your official MDRT Annual Meeting badge must be worn at all times. It will enable you to access all events, sessions and activities without interruption.
Sharing or swapping your official MDRT Annual Meeting badge with another individual is strictly prohibited. Members found sharing or swapping their official MDRT Annual Meeting badge will have their badge confiscated, and they will be expelled from the MDRT Annual Meeting. The individual and the incident will also be reported to the MDRT Bylaws and Ethics Committee for further action, possibly resulting in revocation of membership.
Official MDRT Hotels
The
official MDRT hotels are conveniently located within walking distance of the Vancouver Convention Centre in downtown Vancouver.
We encourage you to maximize your MDRT Annual Meeting experience by staying at an official MDRT hotel. Make your housing reservation at the same time you register for the meeting to ensure you receive the special MDRT rate (based on availability).
Group Hotel Reservations
MDRT recognizes that some members travel to the MDRT Annual Meeting in groups and may require multiple guest rooms. To request multiple guest rooms at an official MDRT hotel, you must contact the hotel directly. All contracting for multiple guest rooms will be handled between the group and the hotel. Group reservations and special MDRT rates are not guaranteed and are subject to hotel availability.

If you are seeking meeting space at an official MDRT hotel for your group, you must contact the hotel directly. Contracting for meeting space will be handled between the group and the hotel. Space is not guaranteed and subject to hotel availability.

Transportation
The safety and security of MDRT Annual Meeting attendees is a top priority. Therefore, access to the Vancouver Convention Centre is limited to official MDRT busses and vehicles with approved access.
If you are organizing transportation for your group/company, please be advised motor coaches and busses cannot drop off/pick up at the Vancouver Convention Centre without a permit issued by MDRT. Please complete a
permit request and submit to the email listed prior to
May 3, 2024. Once the request is received, your group/company will be assigned a vehicle permit with a location and time slot for drop-off/pick-up at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Outside Food and Beverage Prohibited
Food and beverage items brought in from outside the Vancouver Convention Centre or official MDRT hotels are strictly prohibited, per their policy. No one, including companies and tour groups, is allowed to bring outside food and beverage items into the Convention Centre or official MDRT hotels. There are many dining options located within the vicinity of the Convention Centre, hotels and surrounding area.
Unattended Personal Items and Luggage
For the safety of all attendees, security will confiscate and remove any personal items left unattended. Luggage will not be allowed inside MDRT session rooms or meeting space. Attendees should store their luggage in their hotel rooms or with the hotel bell stand, if necessary.
