Okazaki shares his experience of protecting the family business as an external professional, a business partner and as a practitioner of business succession. He explains that by listening intently to the business owner's vision, the successor's vision and the family's vision, you can draw a road map and ignite a spark in the business owner’s soul.
Mitsuhiro Okazaki joined Sony Life Insurance Company in 2015. He focused on individual business as a life planner for five years while also being involved in the succession of his father’s business. The experience of learning from his father’s succession planning helped him expand into the business insurance market, serving as a sounding board to thoroughly understand the owner's vision and supporting business continuity. He was previously a systems engineer and a project manager.
